I know this space looks like as it is going to close down soon but I'm having my long long holiday till Sept/Oct before my class commenced. So I guess I have no more reason to keep my blog dead now. *laughs*
Alright. Let's begin the the post now.
So, apparently, this is a very spontaneous trip without any deep research and kinda slumber with our flight ticket. What I regretted is the air ticket which costed us RM630, we bought the ticket one and half month before our trip and then I went to MAS airline website and checked. We can actually purchase the MAS air ticket with the amount of money that we paid AirAsia. (MAS cheaper than AA) *dafuq face*
But I did a lot of research for the hotel rooms as I couldn't stand with creepy room with a dirty bathroom, too scare of "kangtao" thingy and bathroom is the room for us to clean up ourselves, so what's the point using the dirty bathroom? No, I'm not "da xiao jie", but this is the fact.
At 1st, we're about to book Baiyoke Boutique Hotel but still I got bad review for the bathrooms so, neh, got rejected by me. Then, I came across to idk how many tons of hotels, from boutique to luxury, it's either to dirty or too expensive and I was about to give up, just choose back the boutique hotel that is far from Siam but I saw a link popped-out, a new hotel that is going to open on the 2nd of May 2012. Click on it, and thank God, I've finally found a new, grand and affordable 5-star hotel. Thanks to Eastin Grand Hotel, Sathorn. This hotel has a linked bridge to BTS skytrain too (Surasak station). It's just 4 stations away from Siam station. Oh yea, I emailed them that we will check in at 11am BKK time and the manager replied they will get ready the room by then. Awesome max!
This is the trip that I've been longing for years actually but throughout blogs that I've been reading and friend's advise, I must have a lot of $$$ with me because I'll go mad when I shop at there so it has been postponed for years.
Since this is our virgin trip to Bangkok, we did a lot of noob thingys there (eg, walk for half an hour instead of taking the BTS Skytrain, boyfie took the plastic bags instead of bringing his mini luggage bag and throw them in it, pay 500 bath for cab fee from airport to our hotel instead of taking the skytrain and etc.)
Yea, a very noobie and slumber trip.
Day 1
Woke up at 4am to get ready and waited for the brothers arrival at my house. Thanks to boyfie's brother for fetching us to the airport early in the morning.
While waiting for the guys, say hi to naked eye make-up
Selca, selca a.k.a. self-capture 5am before sunrise
Outfit of the day. Somehow, I don't find them matching.
I hope I didn't snore in the car. LOL. Grabbed McD's breakfast and rushed to the departure gate and realised we're still early. /gasp
Hola! My very 1st time in a plane with boyfie.
Showed bf this pic and he "woah", then he said not like this take one.
My second attempt, main purpose: To show him the clouds.
His shot. "Like this ma". I "woah", wondering since when did his photography skills has been improved? lol
Shy boyfie, spot the LV bracelet that I gave him for our 1st anni. Lock him with me. /ngeks
*just kidding*
After 2 hours of struggling the in limited space of sitting, we finally reached Suvarnabhumi Airport. *phew*
I almost faint in the plane due to the uncomfortable seat and air.
Shoo happy. weeee
Welcome to Thailand

Thank God they have English as secondary language in their signboards
Lepak around, lost a while and our luggage bag are not checked-out yet. Ish..
Luckily I did a lil research about how to get transportation to our hotel before I snore. To avoid scam from the cab drivers, you have to get a metered taxi at Level 1 outside of the airport. Tell the person-in-charge your destination, and the taxi driver will bring you to their car.
Notice 1: DO NOT ASK them how much cause it is a metered taxi! If you ask that question, they'll assumed you're willing to pay for a fix price. It will be more than what it supposed to be of course.
Notice 2: You have to get ready small change because they rarely have change for your 1000bath and they will suggest you to pay that 1000bath to them which is a BIG-NO-NO.
Notice 3: You have to pay an additional 50bath surcharge after you reached your destination.
Thank God everything just go smoothly at that moment. We got in to a comfy cab (although we couldn't get into a pink one), stuck in jam for few minutes and we reached after 45mins. Checked-in and the bellboy brought us up to our room and explain where we can go and stuffs. Mad in love with their service. So here is our superior room for 4 nights stay. /happy
Boyfie just jumped to the couch and enjoying the view.
The poser. LOL
Our all-time safe box from Japan. *thumbs up*
I can't live without hair dryer!
Mirror, mirror, on the wall.
It's moi appearance time!
Pardon me with my face.
New technology, DO NOT DISTURB sign. I always think that this cardboard sign putting outside of our room ain't useful because other people might change your sign and when you're having your snoring wonderland moment, the housekeeping cleaner comes in and interrupt you.
I can finally fully utilize my baby Nikon. =D
Selca 2
Selca 3- might be a lil obsessed with the bathroom, I know.
We're mad tired and our tummy is doing some performance there. Time to dine! but we have 0 idea where to get nice food and we didn't even where are we near to. So boyfie finally said,"Let's in-dining." He snored and I ordered & waited for the food to come. Ish.. That's why I selca... while waiting for the food.
Jeng, jeng, jeng, jeng!
Yes, you're right. We're having pasta in Bangkok. Boyfie suggested that so I guess it's not my fault right.
But both of them taste shoo good.
Bread as a complimentary dish.
Finished in less than 20 minutes. /rawr
There're 2 Eastins in Bangkok so beware of which Eastin you're going. ;)
After 2 hours of nap, the boyfie is finally awake and I forced him to accompany to take a tour in the hotel facilities.
Our room number.
Baby Nikon is afraid of new places I guess, blurry blurry. See, if I on the sign inside it'll on on the outside. No worries of being prank.
Going down to the swimming pool.
The pictures of the website never disappointed me.
Can't wait to swim!
Swimmers' couch. Just lay on it even when you're dripping wet.
So cool like Marina Bay's pool.
Proceed with the gym room.
Not bad not bad.
Selca again.
Back to our room and get ready for dinner and nightlife! But boyfie sleeps again.. Non-stop. /grrrr
When you see me selca in the room, that means the boyfie is sleeping. =,=
Pink?
Or grey?
Get ready with vain selca pichas.
He's awake! Like finally.. I always feel so blessed when he's not sleeping. idk why lol
Our station
Selca again while waiting for the skytrain.
Attempt 1 #phailed
Attempt 2
Traveled to Siam for a short walk and dinner! The malls usually closed at 9pm. =/
Recommended by the customer service and I now recommend to you, it's way too awesome than the Malaysia one.
Raw shrimp! *slurrppp*
Baby clam. Self-torturing atm. AHHHHH
TOM YUM GONG!! The best I ever had I must say.
Green curry chicken. I'm shooo hungry. =/
Get some souvenirs for my loveliesssss here. =D
Since there's not much thing to walk in there as it is going to close and we couldn't afford the branded stuffs yet, boyfie asked where do I wanna go and I said I wanna go to the "Tiger Show or Ladyboy Show" because I went to the show once where there's a big stage and a lot of audience which is totally safe and sound but we got no idea where to watch these type of show so boyfie suggested to go to the red light street, Sala Daeng station. I agreed and my nightmare begins here.
Taken from the skytrain station.
Spot the "chickens".
My worst experience in my life is getting near to these whores. I know it'a a legal occupation in BKK and I also know that I was not supposed to say this, but I can't accept these prostitutes. /geez
So once we went into the street, we saw whores with cosplay outfits, standing or sitting for the customers and people are introducing us some kind of show and we agreed to go since the guy said it's safe and blah..
While we're on our way to the OTHER STREET where his shop locates at, he introduced us the Japanese streets, gay bar/street, ladyboy street and the normal street where people find those prostitutes for pleasure. So yea, I'm so regret that I agreed with boyfie to watch that show.
1) It cost us 1000bath for entrance fee.
2) The bar is so creepy, stinky and old!
3) Nonetheless the environment sucks, the "performers" sucks too! I LOOK WAY BETTER THAN THEM!
4) Their performance TURNED ME OFF IMMEDIATELY!
5) They said we have a free drink and enjoy the show but they keep asking for tips! 200bath somemore and we paid A LOT of tips.
It's just the 1st day man, and they scared me, and we give the tips because we don't wanna have any "kangtao" and problems. /sigh
Anyway, just forget bout the show, we went off quickly once we finished our beer. Passed by a lot of prostitutes/ladyboy. Arghh.. I will never go back there anymore.
Then, we went to the convenient store, 7-11 to get our SIM card. Thanks to Missy Joc who recommended to get "Happy Tourist" sim card when you're in Thailand which only cost 45bath/day for unlimited data access. Free a day of unlimited data access for you and just reload it when it is out of credit.
Too lazy to transfer the photo of the sim card now, will do it in the next post. Let me show you the top up card 1st. Boyfie and I got 200bath for our 5 days trip.
And yea, due to the restaurants closed at 9/10pm, we couldn't get our food outside so get ordered in dining again. Me no fancy this in dining supper! =/
That's all for the 1st day. I know it's long but I can tell you that the rest of the day I don't bother to take any pic anymore because I'm in my own paradise. =D
xoxo,
