BKK Virgin Trip

Yeah! So, my finals are over and time flies with a blink of eye. I even got back from my 3rd trip with boyfie few days ago but unfortunately, had "mojo-jojo" gastric for days after got down from board. Anyway, I'm officially recover from that bitch already. =D

I know this space looks like as it is going to close down soon but I'm having my long long holiday till Sept/Oct before my class commenced. So I guess I have no more reason to keep my blog dead now. *laughs*

Alright. Let's begin the the post now.
So, apparently, this is a very spontaneous trip without any deep research and kinda slumber with our flight ticket. What I regretted is the air ticket which costed us RM630, we bought the ticket one and half month before our trip and then I went to MAS airline website and checked. We can actually purchase the MAS air ticket with the amount of money that we paid AirAsia. (MAS cheaper than AA) *dafuq face*
But I did a lot of research for the hotel rooms as I couldn't stand with creepy room with a dirty bathroom, too scare of "kangtao" thingy and bathroom is the room for us to clean up ourselves, so what's the point using the dirty bathroom? No, I'm not "da xiao jie", but this is the fact.

At 1st, we're about to book Baiyoke Boutique Hotel but still I got bad review for the bathrooms so, neh, got rejected by me. Then, I came across to idk how many tons of hotels, from boutique to luxury, it's either to dirty or too expensive and I was about to give up, just choose back the boutique hotel that is far from Siam but I saw a link popped-out, a new hotel that is going to open on the 2nd of May 2012. Click on it, and thank God, I've finally found a new, grand and affordable 5-star hotel. Thanks to Eastin Grand Hotel, Sathorn. This hotel has a linked bridge to BTS skytrain too (Surasak station). It's just 4 stations away from Siam station. Oh yea, I emailed them that we will check in at 11am BKK time and the manager replied they will get ready the room by then. Awesome max!

This is the trip that I've been longing for years actually but throughout blogs that I've been reading and friend's advise, I must have a lot of $$$ with me because I'll go mad when I shop at there so it has been postponed for years.
Since this is our virgin trip to Bangkok, we did a lot of noob thingys there (eg, walk for half an hour instead of taking the BTS Skytrain, boyfie took the plastic bags instead of bringing his mini luggage bag and throw them in it, pay 500 bath for cab fee from airport to our hotel instead of taking the skytrain and etc.)
Yea, a very noobie and slumber trip.

Day 1
Woke up at 4am to get ready and waited for the brothers arrival at my house. Thanks to boyfie's brother for fetching us to the airport early in the morning.

While waiting for the guys, say hi to naked eye make-up

 Selca, selca a.k.a. self-capture 5am before sunrise

Outfit of the day. Somehow, I don't find them matching.

I hope I didn't snore in the car. LOL. Grabbed McD's breakfast and rushed to the departure gate and realised we're still early. /gasp

Hola! My very 1st time in a plane with boyfie.

Showed bf this pic and he "woah", then he said not like this take one.

My second attempt, main purpose: To show him the clouds.

His shot. "Like this ma". I "woah", wondering since when did his photography skills has been improved? lol

Shy boyfie, spot the LV bracelet that I gave him for our 1st anni. Lock him with me. /ngeks
*just kidding*
After 2 hours of struggling the in limited space of sitting, we finally reached Suvarnabhumi Airport. *phew*
I almost faint in the plane due to the uncomfortable seat and air.

 Shoo happy. weeee

 Welcome to Thailand

 Poser

 Poser x9999

Thank God they have English as secondary language in their signboards

Lepak around, lost a while and our luggage bag are not checked-out yet. Ish..

Luckily I did a lil research about how to get transportation to our hotel before I snore. To avoid scam from the cab drivers, you have to get a metered taxi at Level 1 outside of the airport. Tell the person-in-charge your destination, and the taxi driver will bring you to their car.

Notice 1: DO NOT ASK them how much cause it is a metered taxi! If you ask that question, they'll assumed you're willing to pay for a fix price. It will be more than what it supposed to be of course.

Notice 2: You have to get ready small change because they rarely have change for your 1000bath and they will suggest you to pay that 1000bath to them which is a BIG-NO-NO.

Notice 3: You have to pay an additional 50bath surcharge after you reached your destination.

Thank God everything just go smoothly at that moment. We got in to a comfy cab (although we couldn't get into a pink one), stuck in jam for few minutes and we reached after 45mins. Checked-in and the bellboy brought us up to our room and explain where we can go and stuffs. Mad in love with their service. So here is our superior room for 4 nights stay. /happy

Boyfie just jumped to the couch and enjoying the view.

 The poser. LOL

Our all-time safe box from Japan. *thumbs up*

I can't live without hair dryer!

Mirror, mirror, on the wall.

It's moi appearance time!

 Pardon me with my face.

New technology, DO NOT DISTURB sign. I always think that this cardboard sign putting outside of our room ain't useful because other people might change your sign and when you're having your snoring wonderland moment, the housekeeping cleaner comes in and interrupt you.

I can finally fully utilize my baby Nikon. =D

 Selca 2

Selca 3- might be a lil obsessed with the bathroom, I know.

We're mad tired and our tummy is doing some performance there. Time to dine! but we have 0 idea where to get nice food and we didn't even where are we near to. So boyfie finally said,"Let's in-dining." He snored and I ordered & waited for the food to come. Ish.. That's why I selca... while waiting for the food.

 Jeng, jeng, jeng, jeng!

Yes, you're right. We're having pasta in Bangkok. Boyfie suggested that so I guess it's not my fault right.

But both of them taste shoo good.

 Bread as a complimentary dish.

Finished in less than 20 minutes. /rawr

There're 2 Eastins in Bangkok so beware of which Eastin you're going. ;)

After 2 hours of nap, the boyfie is finally awake and I forced him to accompany to take a tour in the hotel facilities.
 Our room number.

Baby Nikon is afraid of new places I guess, blurry blurry. See, if I on the sign inside it'll on on the outside. No worries of being prank.

Going down to the swimming pool.

The pictures of the website never disappointed me.

 Can't wait to swim!

Swimmers' couch. Just lay on it even when you're dripping wet.

So cool like Marina Bay's pool.

 Proceed with the gym room.

 Not bad not bad.
Selca again.

Back to our room and get ready for dinner and nightlife! But boyfie sleeps again.. Non-stop. /grrrr
When you see me selca in the room, that means the boyfie is sleeping. =,=
 Pink?

 Or grey?

Get ready with vain selca pichas.

He's awake! Like finally.. I always feel so blessed when he's not sleeping. idk why lol

 Our station

Selca again while waiting for the skytrain.

 Attempt 1 #phailed

 Attempt 2

Traveled to Siam for a short walk and dinner! The malls usually closed at 9pm. =/

Recommended by the customer service and I now recommend to you, it's way too awesome than the Malaysia one.

 Raw shrimp! *slurrppp*

 Baby clam. Self-torturing atm. AHHHHH

TOM YUM GONG!! The best I ever had I must say.
Green curry chicken. I'm shooo hungry. =/

Get some souvenirs for my loveliesssss here. =D

Since there's not much thing to walk in there as it is going to close and we couldn't afford the branded stuffs yet, boyfie asked where do I wanna go and I said I wanna go to the "Tiger Show or Ladyboy Show" because I went to the show once where there's a big stage and a lot of audience which is totally safe and sound but we got no idea where to watch these type of show so boyfie suggested to go to the red light street, Sala Daeng station. I agreed and my nightmare begins here.
 Taken from the skytrain station.

 Spot the "chickens".

My worst experience in my life is getting near to these whores. I know it'a a legal occupation in BKK and I also know that I was not supposed to say this, but I can't accept these prostitutes. /geez
So once we went into the street, we saw whores with cosplay outfits, standing or sitting for the customers and people are introducing us some kind of show and we agreed to go since the guy said it's safe and blah..
While we're on our way to the OTHER STREET where his shop locates at, he introduced us the Japanese streets, gay bar/street, ladyboy street and the normal street where people find those prostitutes for pleasure. So yea, I'm so regret that I agreed with boyfie to watch that show.
1) It cost us 1000bath for entrance fee.
2) The bar is so creepy, stinky and old!
3) Nonetheless the environment sucks, the "performers" sucks too! I LOOK WAY BETTER THAN THEM!
4) Their performance TURNED ME OFF IMMEDIATELY!
5) They said we have a free drink and enjoy the show but they keep asking for tips! 200bath somemore and we paid A LOT of tips.
It's just the 1st day man, and they scared me, and we give the tips because we don't wanna have any "kangtao" and problems. /sigh
Anyway, just forget bout the show, we went off quickly once we finished our beer. Passed by a lot of prostitutes/ladyboy. Arghh.. I will never go back there anymore.

Then, we went to the convenient store, 7-11 to get our SIM card. Thanks to Missy Joc who recommended to get "Happy Tourist" sim card when you're in Thailand which only cost 45bath/day for unlimited data access. Free a day of unlimited data access for you and just reload it when it is out of credit.

Too lazy to transfer the photo of the sim card now, will do it in the next post. Let me show you the top up card 1st. Boyfie and I got 200bath for our 5 days trip.

And yea, due to the restaurants closed at 9/10pm, we couldn't get our food outside so get ordered in dining again. Me no fancy this in dining supper! =/

That's all for the 1st day. I know it's long but I can tell you that the rest of the day I don't bother to take any pic anymore because I'm in my own paradise. =D

Breath Again

*gasp*

"I couldn't afford to lose you", he said.

I breathe in deeply and out slowly. Holding back my tears in the eyes.
Staring at the screen for minutes, mind started to question, heart started to be dramatic.

Knowing that I had a big impact from the past and he repeated my history. (not big cases like betraying, of course)
After the past, I've promised myself that I'll never torture myself by staying but I'll hurt myself by leaving earlier from being hurt.
I have to make a confession that I'm not making any comparison btw current and past.
As I always said, truth is always better than finding out things myself.
I rather to be mad at the truth than being in the lowest mood at the truth that revealed by myself.
Yea, being insecure is the Cancer's big no-no thing.
I asked God, "Are You loving me or torturing me?" Or, the karma that I have to pay now because the truth just came out without my expectation.
I put on more blames on him than the 3rd party as he could have rejected the offer or take no action.
We never bring up the "break up" word in our arguments before.
But, that day I've asked for a turn off. For friends who knew me well, I barely ask for this but when I asked for a turn off means I'm lost and no longer hold with the feelings anymore.
You would be surprised with that but asking for a turn off not because of the incident happened, but him, the guy who I neither doubt nor suspect since day one.

Through days of messing up our relationship, I bet that neither one of us is happy but he's the one who held this on strongly. And from that, I'm sure that he's a taker. Or in another point of thinking, he did consider of my feelings in another way by hiding it since he'd did it.
So, "I chose to stay with all the right things he had done and not to leave with the one mistake he did." - from The Vow.
I admit that my past almost 3 years relationship's wound is not completely healed yet, and he put in so much patience and efforts to heal me up.
Some of you will be thinking that I'm using him to heal myself and take him as a "float", I'll leave that mindset back to you.
I don't have to explain much as long as we know the love that we gave each other is real.
Words are useless but actions are priceless.
By the way, I have to thank to the 3rd party because our relationship has grown even further after this incident.

And today, we've walked through another half of the 366 (365) days.

Happy 1 year and 183 days, love!

You're the best of my best.

xoxo,

Random

It has been a while since my last post, I know....
Just give me some time to deal with my 9 assignments which gonna due this and next month.

But I'm here for one purpose.
Moi got something to share!
I've been viewing it for idk how many times...

She's a Malaysian. Don't doubt that. She's an international pianist who participated in 4th Asean International Chopin before. I will never know that the existence of this beautiful and talented lady if babe Junee didn't tell. But she is now currently working at Singapore under MediaCorp while getting ready her debut album I guess. (As what I've read in her FB status.) And she's actually our senior a.k.a. friend's elder sister. Oh fuuuuu~~~~

Here's another other short clip of her.

I will choose her to be my wife if I'm a guy. LOL
She is just too attractive!

Socially awkward- Dealing with people

What's your 1st impression towards me?- A common question that I will always ask my friends who I've known for quite some time.
Quiet, arrogant, fierce, shy, bitchy, polite & etc. - The repeated answers that I got.

Well, I wouldn't deny that I have more than one face. In fact, I have different faces when I meet different people. (Referring to strangers/ friends-to-be.)
Due to friendship's betrayal, I've started to use my 6th sense and observations to make friends. I know it doesn't sounds right but yea, it is.
It's sort of like I have to be convinced by people on why I have to give trust and time to make friends with them.
Sometimes I would just keep quiet because I'm observing and listening the way of that person's personalities and attitude.
My observations may not be right but I don't doubt my 6th sense. Test me.
I choose my attitudes to deal with people on how they treated me.
So judge my attitudes and not my personalities.

And I've came across this website and taken a quiz. Here's the result.

You are socially awkward 49% of the time.

Not bad. You have a fair grasp of social skillitz, but sometimes slip up. You are somewhat more worthy of social interaction than the average person on the street. Have a nice day.

The Language of Feelings

"Is this how I'm supposed to feel now?"

"I don't know, I'll check the manual."

"And?"

"It says that you're feeling the right way."

"What way is that?"

"It says that there is no right way to feel but, right now, after something like this happens, you do need to feel however you're feeling and that feeling this way, however you're feeling, is healthy."

"That doesn't sound very scientific."

"It has nothing to do with science."

"Does it say anything else?"

"It says you'll break something if you beat yourself up for the way you feel and that you won't be able to feel differently until you've finished feeling this feeling."

"Ok. How long will that take?"

"I don't know. How do you feel?"

Ordinary yet Royal

Everyone knew that I'm happy with my love life after I met my current boyfie.
For your information, bf and I has been together for one year and three months six days and counting still.
And I'm madly in love with him.

Yea, it's just one year and some of you might say,"Just wait for few years later and see."
Right, I can't guarantee that thou.
What I have in my mind all these years is you'll take a lifetime to understand one person deeply, as the old sayings, people change from time to time.

Anyway, get back to the topic.
Throughout this whole year, I've met his friends and he've met my friends. He've met my parents (especially my conservative dad) and I..........
*cough* haven't even really meet his family members.

I know you're laughing and feeling lame like the image above right now.
Well, you can't blame me as I've met my exes parents when I'm with them and this is the first time after so long, I'm not introduced to his family members.
Don't get me wrong, I don't treat this as a problem but just weird. It's weird. LOL

My parents has been asking me whether I've met his family members or not since a year ago.
I know this is crazy, wtf.
It's either I answer them no, because I'm not ready or a smile.
And they'll like,"what? you haven't meet them?" or "this guy must be hiding something."
(wtf, they actually make me feel anxious bout it as if it's like something big)
So I tried so hint him for the 1st time. *I feel so ....... sucks for asking him to introduce me to his family (in my heart)* HAHAHA
I did and he said,"OKEY, we go now." with a doubting and poker face.
I was like,

Then I found out from his childhood friend that his family is kinda strict.
Or I shall say very strict. HAHA
Soon after that, he started to tell me bout this matter. (He repeated this whenever I say I wanna meet his dad. LOL)
Here he begins, none of his relatives bring their partner back unless they have graduated and own a stable career. Then, they will ask the partner all sorts of questions like we all watched before in the dramas.
And all of them are professions, doctors, nurse, engineers, etc etc and darn rich and capable.
So, if he brings me back now, he might be getting words like,"how are you going to have a girlfriend if you haven't even earn your own money?".....
DAMN STRESS. Not him but me. I'm no doctor, nurse or lawyer. I'm just a business student. FML.
I'm like stucking in a drama where rich family is finding an educated, high status girl to fit in the family. #justsaying
I know I'm the one who stressed myself up.....
But!

TWENTY.ONE.TWO!

Hey guys, how was ur new year eve?
1st of all, I wanna wish all of u a belated happy new year. ;)
Couldn't blog on the day itself due to the studies that I'm rushing now for my mid-sem exam which is going to starts tomorrow! *freakout*
I'm taking a few minutes break for a short update actually.
Had an epic night on the last Friday of 2011 and boyfie had a serious hangover on the new year eve.
However, we still managed to make it to the place where our friends rented and passed our 12am together.
So basically, we don't have a very happening new year eve night like last year.
It was a peaceful night. LOL

So, I've been wondering why every year people will list down a long list for their resolutions and I found it funny. Well,-
It's funny that people don't be thankful for the lesson learnt in the past one year yet they always hoping for the new year to arrive. What's the difference?
It's funny how people said that,"I hope 2012 will be a good year for me." How to define a good year? =,=
It's funny how people use new year as a reason to change themselves. Want a change? We can do it anytime! Don't ddly pls.
It's more funny that how people back to their normal life after a few months or days of determination for their resolutions.
That's what I feel.
Of course, writing down our resolutions has became one of the culture or trend, that I can say.
But don't write an eftin' long one. Think of one positive attitude that can covers up your whole bad personalities or habits.

Alright, I should get back to my sheets of paper...
Wish me luck for tomorrow's paper!

p/s: Hey girl, stop imitating. I'm so sick of it.
